Kurd Čelebijina džamija (Pašina džamija)
The Kurd Čelebi Mosque was built during the first half of the 16th century and stands in the Svojbor neighbourhood of Novi Pazar. It was declared a cultural monument in 1972.

The Kurd Čelebi Mosque was built during the second half of the 16th century. In the first half of the 19th century it was renovated by its endower Ejup-paša Ferhatagić, when it received its second name (Pašina džamija), which is recorded in an inscription in verse in the Persian language from 1837/38.[1]
The original complex had a low wooden minaret on a massive stone base, entered from the mahfil. Inside it had a simple stone minbar and mihrab. It stands out for its rare interior dominated by relief ornamentation. The Islamic community reconstructed the mosque, so its original appearance was changed. The old minaret was demolished and a new one of trachyte stone was raised in its place, while the hipped roof structure was replaced by a dome, and the former porch was extended and enclosed.[1]
